WHAT DOES CRIME STOPPERS DO?

Brazos County Crime Stoppers collaborates with community members, law enforcement, and the media to help solve and prevent crime in Brazos County.  Crime Stoppers helps you overcome fear of retaliation by guaranteeing your anonymity and the belief that there is nothing you can do about criminal activity in your community. By providing the information you know anonymously through the Crime Stoppers tip line, website, or mobile app, you can help keep your community safe.  You submit it to Crime Stoppers, we'll make sure there is nothing in it that might identify you, and we will pass it along to law enforcement. Crime Stoppers helps law enforcement get information out about crimes for which they need information. Crime Stoppers also works with the media to reach out to you.

HOW DO THEY DO IT?

To guarantee your anonymity, Crime Stoppers provides a 24-hour hotline (979-775-TIPS (8477)), web site for web tips (P3Tips.com) or this website) and free mobile app (P3Tips) so you can share information in whichever format is best for you. None of these ways of communicating with us collects any kind of information about you or records your call. No one will know that you submitted a tip unless you choose to tell them. But don't.

When you submit a tip, you will be given a unique Tip ID number and password that enables you to access your tip to add information or check on the status. Don't lose this Tip ID and password, since you are anonymous there is no other way for you or us to access the tip. If your information leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a CASH reward. You will be given a secret code to take to our bank so you can pick up your cash through the drive through.
